It's amazing watching Drake literally transform the musical sound in hip hop...I think the name of his(Drake's) record label is literally "ovo sound"; Which consists of Drake and in-house producers 40, Boi-1da, T-Minus, Mike Zombie, and Nineteen85, along with recording artists PartyNextDoor and Majid Jordan. I'm a huge fan of partynextdoor but more importantly is the transformation of sound on commercial radio because of Drake's company (ovo sound). What Drake is doing on commercial radio, reminds me a lot of what ancient Torah sages say about the intentions of the generation that built the Tower of Babel. The sages say, the generation of Babel was focused on creating a new system for human existence, manifest a new system for all of Gd's created reality. For example: everyone believes in some form of an afterlife?... but imagine! if someone or a group of people could transform the blueprint of G-d's system to mankind . It's simple, the torah says in Leviticus 16:29-30; "In the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, you shall afflict your souls, and you shall not do any work ... For on that day he shall provide atonement for you to cleanse you from all your sins before the L-RD". From this pasuk the Holy Sages derive 5 laws to support Gd's commandment on Yom Kippur:

1)no Eat or drink
2)no bathe or washwear
3) no leather shoes, leather sandals or any other leather footgear
4)no marital relations
5)no anoint oneself

From a Kabbalistic perspective, these laws are too restrict the ego so an individual can be more of a pure channel receiving the of light Yom Kippur; thus cleansing the soul .... But from a more Torah Rational Perspective, these laws are to intensify the focus of repentance/atonement which is also the purpose of Yom Kippur. so romantic

It's so romantic/interesting : when you read the story of Adam and Chava. Adam was sleeping while Gd took his rib 2 create Eve (Adam's destiny) . On one level, a person can interpret Genesis 2:22 as meaning: by Adam sharing apart of himself, manifested his soulmate. But to be more specific ... Adam gave himself to Gd and Gd created his soulmate (#jussayin). The sages say, Adam only started to feel lonely after he was given the responsibility of giving names 2 all of creation...Seeing that Gd created everything in pairs, thinking to himself; what about me? . It's like walking down Santa Monica Pier seeing beautiful couples holding hands watching the sunset.... Thinking to yourself; "one day that will be me". Arguably couples love watching sunsets because subconsciously they know perfection can only be created by Gd.

a life unfulfilled..

I feel like so much of the pain and suffering in the world has to do with people not following their dreams . There's not enough information describing what it's like to live a life of unfulfilled potential. I just read a great quote by Geneen Roth where she describes feelings but everyone knows feelings/dreams come from the same place, here's what she said; "Most of our suffering comes from resisting what is already here, particularly our feelings. Wanting love, pursuing love is one thing but if you've been in love and had your heart-broken. Putting the pieces back together... moving forward in life is the hardest thing; takes so much courage. The statement made in #Bereshit 1:31; "God saw all that He had made, and behold, it was very good". Is understood by many commentators as to be in reference to man's creation on the sixth day. Meaning the entire reality created for man by Gd is to express Gd's goodness; sadness and pain are temporary illusions. If a person is unaware of this torah idea it's so easy 2 focus on the negativity in life. Helen Keller has an amazing outlook not on the pasuk but the overall idea itself, she says; "When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us". Every disappointment is guaranteed to lead us too a happy outcome beyond our imagination.

It's difficult for minorities to support Israel because minorities feel disenfranchised from America. It's difficult for minorities support America....Even with Barack #Obama as the President of the United States; minority still feel America has never been for them. The question is: how do we change this? how do we create an ideology in America of total inclusion?

your thinking process?

What's the difference between "departmentalized thinking" and "holistic thinking"? What's the most effective thinking process for today's business environment? Most #academics have what you call "departmentalized thinking" because they're expertise is in one or two particular department/subject matters. Business owners, have what you call "holistic thinking" their occupation forces them to be knowledgeable in many different areas (knowing the whole) . The problem with education in America today is that academics (departmentalized thinkers) are trying to create business solutions (holistic thinking) for, for-profit 21st century education institutions . For a spiritual example: Just look at the conflict between #Moshe and #Korah in parsha "Korah" both had great intentions but very different thinking processes. Korah saw everything as it was happening in that moment (departmentalized thinking). As Moshe's decisions were connected to a much higher reality influenced by Gd & humanity's future, a gift that Korah did not have (holistic thinkin). Technological innovations has pretty much made "departmentalized thinking" obsolete. At the same time technological innovations has turned everyone into a potential business leader/owner. Which means "holistic thinking" (Moshe thinking process ) is the new frontier!

conspiracy theories against you

There's a #Midrash that explains in great detail how Korah, Dathan, Abiram, and On all came together to conspiracy against Moses. What I don't understand is: how could anyone oppose Moses at this point in the story? Witnessing the ten plagues,Manna in the desert would have be enough for me, let alone the revelation of Torah on Mount Sinai. How could Korah not have complete confidence in Moses's leadership? #Korah new #Moshe had a direct connection with Gd; why would Korah doubt Moshe's decision making ? And what does Korah behavior teach us about the nature of individuals who conspire against the righteous? How does Gd deal with people who conspire against the righteous? Interesting enough, it was a similar conspiracy which led to the Israelites being in Egypt to begin with. When? When Yoseph's brothers conspired against him out of jealousy. Ultimately, Yoseph's brothers felt the world would be better for them if #Yoseph was no longer around. Comparable Korah felt a similar way about Moses's leadership decisions. Also it's interesting to note: the Israelites were very dependent on Moses in the beginning but later on (Korah rebellion) wanted to destroy him... Attempting to take Moshe's position with #Gd. The moral of the story is... people whom are the most #codependent will eventually turn against you; but have no fear, nature will turn against them 1st, swallowing their conspiracies. Have compassion for those who support conspiracies against you cuz they're going to the same place as Korah's Team did...

what does the world look like?

In Bereshit Gd created our reality in 7 days. On the 6th day Gd gave mankind (Adam) the ability to give its creation names . Which means, Gd gave man a gift/talent to decide its perception of Gd's creation. Similarly, in the book of Exodus... Gd created the first set of tablets on Har Sinai but the second set of tablets was Moses carving out Gd's message to mankind . The second set of tablets were Moshe's perception of Gd's message to humanity . Gd creates reality every second every, day. At the same time we have the talent/gift to decide our perception of every experience created by Gd . As you grow, as you elevate, as you rise to higher levels in life; Gd throws so many challenges at you. Forcing an individual to use the talent of creating their perception of reality/life. Negative thoughts, victimization thoughts, are the only enemy of happiness/life/creativity ; just look what happened to the ten spies in Parsha Shlach who gave a negative report about the Land of Israel. Or on the opposite side of the spectrum in parsha Miketz when Yoseph interpreted the Pharaohs reality through his dreams. Appreciation is the key. Appreciation allows you to trace your steps, seeing how far you've come. Seeing how far you've come, give you the confidence to know everything that's happening is Gd's protection. Even though at times it seems like tremendous judgment against you. Appreciate the illusion, trying to convince you everything isn't perfect; for it brings one closer to Gd . It doesn't matter what anyone says or does, against or for you... because everything is perfect, no matter what! I've decided to see the world this way; oh how Adam of me!

Spiritual people say; "your decisions in life lead to good or bad Karma". religious people say; "when you stand in front of God, after you die, your decisions will testify (like witnesses) for or against you". To bring both ideas together.. "every decision that we make, affects us in this life and the next. Meaning we live in two worlds at the same time; our life decisions determine eternity.. #jussayin

the oldest trick in the book

The oldest and most effective way to control mass groups of people is by making them feel that they're better than anyone not affiliated. Religion once had a monopoly on making people feel better then others thus controlling perception of who's evil or not ... but since the rise of nation-states nationalism is now tha blaring trumpet. Anyone who's fighting on planet Earth believes they're better than their enemy, closer to God, opposite of evil blah blah blah blah blah . Never do they ask themselves... why do I believe this? who told me this and why should I trust them? The most non offensive example I can give is intercity gangs culture. Why do they fight with each other? They're exactly the same economically, education etc. why do gang members see themselves as being different? People who promote divisive separation are the only enemy to Planet Earth and human civilization. The poor workers of the Earth fight for territory while the wealthy and educated are building societies in Space...
