It's difficult for minorities to support Israel because minorities feel disenfranchised from America. It's difficult for minorities support America....Even with Barack #Obama as the President of the United States; minority still feel America has never been for them. Based off the past history of slavery and segregation in America it's definitely understandable.
The question is: how do we change this? how do we create an ideology in America of total inclusion?
I would argue, it requires a #psychological shift of self perception, self identity from the minority community. Actualizing the words of #President John F Kennedy, when he said; "ask what can you do for this country and not wait for America to do something magical for u!". (paraphrasing.lol)
We live in a #global #society now.. with a whole new set of rules/social policies domestic and abroad . The opportunities for wealth and prosperity have never been greater for American #citizens thinking and starting #businesses internationally.
Everyone would agree there's many policies in America needing to be changed/improved upon. The ultimate battle for minorities is to not allow themselves to become victims of a #manufactured way of thinking called "victim consciousness". The mindset of "victim consciousness" is: "why should I care about anything, everything is against me". There are many organizations profiting (#prison industrial complex etc) from minorities thinking like victims, thinking America is against them...
The greatest opportunity for anyone with dreams in America; is looking at the International landscape of #business. The average kid in America today can create an international business from his or her bedroom; utilizing American creativity and Social media. You can be a huge success by using a #laptop and yo #Dreamz!
There are extreme forces internationally working day and night to prevent the American dream from expanding internationally. This extreme force is known as "radical #Islam" or the "Global #jihadist Movement". Islamic radicals are completely against people having dreams, against people being creative, against people being free exchanging ideas. If you don't believe me... do research on any Muslim country and see how they live; see how innocent women and children are treated...
"Israel is fighting for the American dream in the Middle East ".. fighting for the same dreams of Martin Luther King, Rosa Parks, John F Kennedy, Cesar Chavez etc. The same way the media portrays minorities in a negative light, so does the media portray Israel in a negative way. Lying about israel being racist.. through manufactured news reports making terrorist (Hamas) look like victims . I personally have many #African and #black Americans friends living in Israel happy full of optimism about life .
How do your dreams fit into this new international world?
Does the past matter anymore (#slavery, #segregation etc)?
What can I create today, to change my life tomorrow?
As an American minority, Can I experience the American Dream using my creativity ?
What's stopping me from experiencing my dreams?

Yes America needs 2 improve tremendously but if more good hearted Americans aren't involved it will never happen. Supporting our closest ally #Israel is the only way for global #dreams 2 come true. The same way the media hates on minorities by depicting us poorly... The media does the same thing to another minority group call Jews in Israel; don't believe the hype. Rethink what it means to be an #American in 2014 n Beyond!
