thoughts on engagement rings?

After reading this, when I get engaged I'm definitely not buying a diamond... Totally inspired to purchase a blue sapphire for wifey; this is why! The Talmud (Bava Batra 14a) describes the two tablets given to Moses by God on Mount Sinai in Exodus 31:18... stating they were made of #bluesapphire stone as a symbolic reminder of the sky, the heavens, and ultimately of God'sthrone. Some say the revelation of Mount Sinai was a marriage itself; between heaven & earth/upper worlds & lower worlds/ Lightforce of God & human souls etc !
