Sometimes when you're searching for meaning words are so hard to find. For example: what do you say when someone comes into your life out of the blue and they're absolutely perfect? One of my favorite writers Lisa Kleypas, found the words I was looking for.. put them into a paragraph and now I'm sharing them the with you, she said; "I want to talk with you forever. There's a song we sing Saturday afternoon called "Ki Eshm'rah Shabbat", composed by R' Avraham ibn Ezra. Sometimes I sing "Ki Eshm'rah Shabbat" during the week, it gives me so much strength to confront the challenges I'm faced with.. here's the English translation:

so romantic

It's so romantic/interesting : when you read the story of Adam and Chava. Adam was sleeping while Gd took his rib 2 create Eve (Adam's destiny) . On one level, a person can interpret Genesis 2:22 as meaning: by Adam sharing apart of himself, manifested his soulmate. But to be more specific ... Adam gave himself to Gd and Gd created his soulmate (#jussayin). The sages say, Adam only started to feel lonely after he was given the responsibility of giving names 2 all of creation...Seeing that Gd created everything in pairs, thinking to himself; what about me? . It's like walking down Santa Monica Pier seeing beautiful couples holding hands watching the sunset.... Thinking to yourself; "one day that will be me". Arguably couples love watching sunsets because subconsciously they know perfection can only be created by Gd.

a life unfulfilled..

I feel like so much of the pain and suffering in the world has to do with people not following their dreams . There's not enough information describing what it's like to live a life of unfulfilled potential. I just read a great quote by Geneen Roth where she describes feelings but everyone knows feelings/dreams come from the same place, here's what she said; "Most of our suffering comes from resisting what is already here, particularly our feelings. All any feeling wants is to be welcomed, touched, allowed. It wants attention. It wants kindness. If you treated your feelings with as much love as you treated your dog or your cat or your child, you’d feel as if you were living in heaven every day of your sweet life".

Sometimes I wonder if "unconditional love" was an actual person, what would he or she say? What could "unconditional LOVE" teach the world, having the chance to speak with everyone? I definitely have not found the answers, but I think "Thích Nhất Hạnh" a world famous Buddhist monk is on to something in his book "Teachings on Love".. Thích Nhất Hạnh beautifully writes; "Through my love for you, I want to express my love for the whole cosmos, the whole of humanity, and all beings. By living with you, I want to learn to love everyone and all species. If I succeed in loving you, I will be able to love everyone and all species on Earth… This is the real message of love". Drake said in his song Renaissance; "I said that we could kiss the past goodbye, but you weren't excited": I've always wondered, what Drake meant by "kiss the past goodbye" and why wouldn't a person be excited for that? Early this morning I read a quote from Chelsea Fagan's book "How We Let People Go" that brought everything full circle she says; "Of course, you never really forget anyone, but you certainly release them. You stop allowing their history to have any meaning for you today. You let them change their haircut, let them move, let them fall in love again. And when you see this person you have let go, you realize that there is no reason to be sad. The person you knew exists somewhere, but you are separated by too much time to reach them again". I think letting people from your past go.. has more to do with you accepting a new perception of yourself.

giving love a second chance...

Wanting love, pursuing love is one thing but if you've been in love and had your heart-broken. Putting the pieces back together... moving forward in life is the hardest thing; takes so much courage. In 1994 Paulo Coelho published a book called "By the River Piedra I Sat Down and Wept" where he perfectly frames the dangers of falling blindly in love. #PauloCoelho wrote; "I’ve been in love before, it’s like a narcotic. At first it brings the euphoria of complete surrender. The next day you want more. You’re not addicted yet, but you like the sensation, and you think you can still control things.You think about the person you love for two minutes then forget them for three hours.
