Adam and humility..

Everybody knows Adam was the first person ever created by God. Everybody knows Adam was given the responsibility of naming all of creation. But who gave Adam his name? God. Why did God give the name Adam to Adam?... like all words in Torah, you can get a hint to the real understanding through its definition in Hebrew. What does Adam mean in Hebrew? Man. The sages say, the name Adam should teach us humility.Why? the Hebrew word for earth is #adama; God formed man from the dust of the earth in Genesis 2:7. Reminding us no matter how high and influential we become in this world(renaming creation). We come from the earth's dirt; and our bodies will return to the earth's dirt when the soul leaves it.
