"This is my moment,
I waited all my life
I can tell it's time
Drifting away I’m
one with the sunsets,
I have become alive" - Nicki Minaj, moment 4 life

random thought, while looking at Facebook news feeds
"I had no idea it was even baseball season let alone the world series .lol What planet am I living on? Lol. I'm searching, trying my hardest, to figure out, why I should care about a baseball game? Lol I understand watching competitive sports are entertaining- but I've been watching sporting games since a kid.... and it's been, the same exact game with new players every year. Wow so exciting! Sometimes, I wonder if: runway models and professional athletes subconsciously remind the general population of what they're not; economically and physically?" - random thought, while looking at Facebook news feeds

Drake, how about now
"Always felt like
my vision been
bigger than the
bigger picture
Crazy how you
gotta wait until
it's dark out
To see who's
really with you"

Eric Roth ,The Curious Case of Benjamin Button Screenplay
"For what it’s worth: it’s never too late or, in my case, too early to be whoever you want to be. There’s no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you’re proud of. If you find that you’re not, I hope you have the courage to start all over again". - Eric Roth ,The Curious Case of Benjamin Button Screenplay

the things I say 2 non Jewish girls at parties
I love being at random parties and having too explain to non-Jewish girls, why I don't shake hands or give hugs unless its my wife/soulmate. If you want to see a group of girls fall in love, in 10 seconds or less... explain to them how you're saving everything, for your future wife/soulmate.... Even handshakes, hugs or extended eye contact, Judaism teaches men to focus everything they have on "one woman/their soulmate"; even before he meets her...

greatness only exists in the present; success is in the future!
Greatness is in the moment ! Please don't let the future or the potential of the future, take away from your present greatness:
"You spend your whole life stuck in the labyrinth, thinking about how you’ll escape one day, and how awesome it will be, and imagining that future keeps you going, but you never do it. You just use the future to escape the present". - John Green, Looking for Alaska
Haruki Murakami: South of the Border, West of the Sun
"Sometimes when I look at you, I feel I’m gazing at a distant star.
It’s dazzling, but the light is from tens of thousands of years ago.
Maybe the star doesn’t even exist any more.
Yet sometimes that light seems more real to me than anything".

- Nicki Minaj, young forever
"I used to think that we’d reunite
You'd be my wife in the real life
I thought that you’d come back for me
And you would take me away
I never knew only as a teen
You’d reappear only in my dream
Your silhouette in the doorway
But before you walk away....." - Nicki Minaj, young forever

-Wilhelm Reich
"You differ from a great man in only one respect: the great man was once a very little man, but he developed one important quality: he recognized the smallness and narrowness of his thoughts and actions. Under the pressure of some task that meant a great deal to him, he learned to see how his smallness, his pettiness endangered his happiness. In other words, a great man knows when and in what way he is a little man. A little man does not know he is little and is afraid to know. He hides his pettiness and narrowness behind illusions of strength and greatness, someone else’s strength and greatness. He’s proud of his great generals but not of himself. He admires an idea he has not had, not one he has had. The less he understands something, the more firmly he believes in it. And the better he understands an idea, the less he believes in it". - Wilhelm Reich

he's Orthodox Jewish...
He's like Jay Z meets Russel Simmons: in the same way Jay Z's a swagged out 21st century Super capitalist; so is he. In the same way Russell Simmons is a super swagged out spirituality promoter and Community activist; so is he, but Orthodox Jewish! with a Kabbalah background! The 21st and 22nd century isn't about intellectuals from Ivy League schools but rather individuals with unique thought processes. privy to endless amounts of information via information technology; a new era! So the intellectuals today, are going to be way younger than the past; like his age, not your dad's . Either way, he's focused on bringing "learning culture", a culture of independent learning, inquiry, creative expression...2 every neighborhood in America; as an example, for the whole world. "In this generation everybody's a genius they just have to find their own lane!!"- him. Can't you see he's next, it's his time, he's not a rapper, a comedian, dancer, singer or any type of entertainer. he's a visionary, an intellectual, a solution provider for his country and the world as a whole, through new ideas. "See him, think of him, be him... become him!"

I am.
I took "everything I am" & put it inside a huge plastic bag. Drove across the world, giving "everything I am" as a present 2 "everything I want to be". I hope, I pray, my present 2 "everything i want to be" is worthy enough, 4 an access pass to.... "a reality way beyond my imagination".

manifested spiritual growth by Sukkot
I can't figure it out exactly but something about this quote by Danzy Senna, reminds me of the internal growth manifested during the great holiday of #Sukkot:
"It’s funny. When you leave your home and wander really far, you always think, ‘I want to go home.’ But then you come home, and of course it’s not the same. You can’t live with it, you can’t live away from it. And it seems like from then on there’s always this yearning for some place that doesn’t exist. I felt that. Still do. I’m never completely at home anywhere". - Danzy Senna

You're totally my soulmate; it's ridiculously obvious..
You're totally my soulmate; it's ridiculously obvious:
But how will I know who my Soulmate is?” Brida felt that this was one of the most important questions she had ever asked in her life.
By taking risks’ she said to Brida. ‘ By risking failure, disappointment, disillusion, but never ceasing in you search for Love. As long as you keep looking, you will triumph in the end. - Paulo Coelho, Brida

"My God -
The soul You have given me is pure.
You created it, You formed it,
You breathed it into me,
You guard it within me.
You will, in the future, take it from me,
And restore it to me at a future time.
So long as this soul is within me,
I thank You" - ELOHAI NESHAMA

- Clive Barker, Days of Magic, Nights of War
I dreamed I spoke in another language,
I dreamed I lived in another skin,
I dreamed I was my own beloved,
I dreamed I was a tiger’s kin.
I dreamed that Eden lived inside me,
And when I breathed a garden came,
I dreamed I knew all of Creation,
I dreamed I knew the Creator’s name.
I dreamed—and this dream was the finest—
That all I dreamed was real and true,
And we would live in joy forever,
You in me, and me in you.

Wake up too your soulmate. ..
"It's interesting, the Torah says Adam woke up one morning and his soulmate was standing right in front of him... According to the Torah, God did all the work for Adam while he was sleeping... Adam's soulmate can be looked at as a woman in the physical sense...Or could be looked at as his destiny, the destiny of humanity. In the same way, God is creating our destiny every second, every breath we take. Once we find ourselves (our purpose) , We become alive, thus finding our destiny... or in another since waking up, like Adam did. Arguably self-realization is: realizing God is creating perfection (our destiny) all the time.. and our job is just to wake up or realize... The Hebrew word for soulmate is #beshert which means destiny " o_O

today's Haftarah - story of Jonah & Drake
I became so emotional, I felt as if God was speaking to me directly While reading the story of Jonah in 2 days #Haftarah. The story of #Jonah is all about taking responsibility for your "destiny of greatness", no matter what! The whole time reading, thinking to myself; "I asked for this, I asked Gd repeatedly to become great, to reach levels beyond my imagination and now I'm here!". Visualizing all of my ancestors all the way back to Adam and Chava.. gathering inside of a super stadium in Shamayim watching me on ahh jumbotron. In fear of sounding egocentric after a day of a repentance, I'll let my Jewish brother #Drake explain the rest; "Headed where nobody took it, who's meetin' me there? They tell him that he's talkin' crazy but he doesn't care, Bein' humble don't work as well as bein' aware"... 0 too 100 - 2014

Why do Torah observant Jews fast on Yom Kippur?
Why do Torah observant Jews fast on Yom Kippur?
It's simple, the torah says in Leviticus 16:29-30; "In the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, you shall afflict your souls, and you shall not do any work ... For on that day he shall provide atonement for you to cleanse you from all your sins before the L-RD". From this pasuk the Holy Sages derive 5 laws to support Gd's commandment on Yom Kippur:
1)no Eat or drink
2)no bathe or washwear
3) no leather shoes, leather sandals or any other leather footgear
4)no marital relations
5)no anoint oneself
From a Kabbalistic perspective, these laws are too restrict the ego so an individual can be more of a pure channel receiving the of light Yom Kippur; thus cleansing the soul .... But from a more Torah Rational Perspective, these laws are to intensify the focus of repentance/atonement which is also the purpose of Yom Kippur. By the way, if you're ever wondering about the origins of fasting here's a cool article http://www.howtofast.net/context/fasting-origins.html
